A sampling

Things have been busy, busy, busy.  School is out and that means one less job for me for a few months.  I have also decided to take a little break from taking portraits.  Not a break from photography, however, as I plan on taking classes this summer and spending a lot of quality time with my camera :).  I'll be back in the future to take lots more family pictures (hopefully), but for now I'm going to concentrate on my own kids, their schooling, my other job, and life. :-)  I have several more sessions scheduled for this month, but here is a little sampling of what I've been working on for the past few months.  As always, I'm much better at keeping things current on my facebook page!

My first bridal shoot with beautiful Christina, just one week before her wedding in Costa Rica!

A fun photo shoot in the park with the Crook family.  I can't believe how quickly these kids are growing!  Seems like just yesterday I was doing the twin's 6 month portraits!

 A maternity shoot with Macayla, then one month later newborn pictures of sweet baby Myla!

And a day with the Trainer family.  I adore this family!

A HUGE thank you to these families for letting me capture these moments!  I'll have a few more posts this month, then things will slow down.  I'll let everyone know when I am ready to start booking again!!

Oliver

Isn't little Oliver one of the cutest boys ever?  For his one year photo session we just let him play and captured his fun personality.  I took his pictures when he was just a baby, and two days after this session he took his first steps!  They really do grow up too fast.

Love is in the air...

John and Christina will be married next month on a warm beach in Costa Rica, but we had fun shooting their engagement pictures on a very cold day in downtown Tulsa.  Aren't they sweet together?  

Emerson turns 1!

I finally have a free day to sit and edit a few photo shoots and play around on my computer.  I decided to try to create a DVD of a recent photo shoot and thought I would share it with you all.   I will start to offer them as an optional add-on to sessions.  This is sweet Emerson, on the week of her first birthday.  Isn't she a doll? 


Even though our winter has been pretty mild, I'm glad to have a little space in my home for some indoor sessions on cooler days.  Emerson was the first little one to use my converted office/homeschool room/studio.   I'll work on getting some other images up from previous photo shoots soon.  We may actually get a few inches of snow this weekend, so after playing outside just long enough to have fun and get a few pictures I'll be happy to stay inside where it's warm and blog!

Catching up....again.

Between my jobs, lots of great photo shoots, edits, and life, this blog is usually the one thing on my to do list that is left uncrossed at the end of the day.  But, better late than never, right?  It's a cold rainy night, so it's a perfect time to finally post some pics of a few shoots from earlier this Fall.  A Senior portrait session with Alex, a sweet couples shoot with Michelle and Dylan, and precious baby Kylee.
