The J family

This was a spur of the moment photo shoot, and the weather didn't exactly cooperate.  It was a wet and breezy 42 degrees, but this family did great!  Little Annabelle even wanted to spend her time running and dancing barefoot!  They are moving from Oklahoma to Texas in a few weeks, so it was nice to get a few family pictures of them in their home state.

I didn't realize until later that Annabelle's shirt has stars on it like the wall behind her!

Sweet Gwendolyn.  She would give a big smile anytime I looked at her.

One of my favorites of the day.  I found this neat mural painted in downtown Broken Arrow.

A busy weekend, so much to be thankful for!

Thanksgiving weekend proved to be a busy one with lots of cooking, eating, shopping (mostly online) and two photo shoots.  One was a family of five, and one was a family of thirty with multiple generations, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Here are a few of my favorites...

The W family is very outdoorsy so this nature park was the perfect location

one of my favorites-such a pretty girl!

The C family consisted of 30 people all gathered in town for Thanksgiving.  It was a rare opportunity for them to all get together for a photo shoot and I was glad to be a part of it.  I had done portraits of the adorable twin girls a few months ago and it was so fun to see how much they had grown and to meet their extended family.

I love the drool on her chin!

The D family

It was so nice to photograph this family.  I have known them for 12 years and I hope I captured their personalities in these pictures.  We were able to take some of the pictures with a Model T from the 1920s!  I was very glad the rainy/wintery weather waited an hour to come into the area so we could get together for the photo shoot today.

It took Caleb a little while to warm up to the idea of having his picture taken.  :-)

But soon he decided to SMILE.

I loved that they all came wearing fun colors of Chucks.

The old model T was such a fun prop to shoot with!

G family, Downtown Tulsa

Downtown Tulsa was such a fun place for a photo shoot!  I love shooting in nature, but the old brick walls, graffiti, alleys, and even an old dump truck made for great, colorful backdrops.  This family was perfect for downtown-they are proud Tulsans and are very involved in the local community.

                                                               Great family!

The kids had fun on the spiral staircase.  I love how Natalie is looking at her brother, Logan.

This loading dock was such a pretty color, and the heart and "Love" was already there!

This dump truck was fun for the kids to climb on and the colors were great!  In the first photo, I used an "Urban" action in photo shop, just for fun.

This was probably the kid's favorite part of the shoot!
